Whitsun Voice Camp
Friday 22nd - Tuesday 26th May  2020

A three day camp for singers and their families
on a beautiful field near Charmouth, Dorset, two miles from the sea
Workshops start Friday evening and end Monday evening.

We will learn many different genres of songs together, including Harmonic Temple and songs from Taizé,
under the guidance of the following experienced and inspiring community choir leaders:

Nickomo & Rasullah Clarke
Dee Jarlett & Ali Orbaum

Pete Linnett
& Claire Anstee
Fiona Funnell

We are providing a holiday that is a green alternative to flying abroad. This camp offers the experience of joyful companionship and aims to be
an uplifting holistic event.

If you are a supporting family member rather than a singer, there’s plenty for you too with camping circle friendships, beautiful walks and the sea nearby.

Whitsun Voice Camp additional info

People are encouraged to camp in circles and cook evening meals together, firewood is provided. We ask for individual responsibility and sensitivity regarding noise, alcohol, use of mobiles and cooking of meat.

The camp takes place in a beautiful field among rolling Dorset hills and is situated in Whitchurch Canonicorum, 2 miles from Charmouth. The field has water-points, willow-toilets and a shower. There is a large marquee for the choir meetings, a marquee for children’s activities and a smaller café marquee. The cafe offers snacks and drinks and simple vegetarian lunches.

Children are always welcome to join in with the singing, alternative activities will also be provided for over 5s during daytime workshops, there will be teens and tweens singing sessions, an early evening storytime.

We have a cabaret evening (you might want to prepare an act?) and a market so do bring things to sell including some small items that children can afford.
